LEAKING WATER

A dishwasher leaks water for one of two reasons. The first is that there is a problem with the door latch or closure and a part will need replacement. The second cause is a failed water inlet valve. We can fix that problem promptly upon our arrival. We carry the necessary part to fix Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore and all major brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

When the dishwasher won’t start or turn on, check the electricity. Is it plugged in and are the circuit breakers OK or have they flipped? If the dishwasher is getting electricity and does not turn on, call us. Common problems come from thermal fuses, motor relays, electronic controls, and door latch switches.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

Your dishwasher fills automatically with water when it starts and automatically drains the water when the dishes are washed. When it does not fill, it has a broken door switch, water inlet valve, or float switch. When your dishwasher does not drain it has a broken drain hose or drain pump motor. These are problems that we easily fix on a first visit.

WON’T CLEAN DISHES

The point of having a dishwasher is to clean your dishes. When dishes are not clean at the end of the cycle there will be one of several problems. There is a broken water tube, housing gasket, or filter or spray arm.
A dishwasher isn’t much use if the dishes are still dirty after a cycle. The dishes will still be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. Yuma Appliance Repair carries manufacturer parts in their service vans to fix each of these dishwasher dilemmas ASAP.
